Compact Fluorescent Lamp (CFL) Purchasing
Program
In order to provide the most competitive pricing to our members on a
variety of high quality, Energy Star rated CFLs, IAMU submitted a
Request for Proposal to multiple vendors. After carefully evaluating
the responses, IAMU selected the quote submitted by Service Concepts, a
new IAMU Gold Level Associate Member. The details of the price quotes
and bulb specifications that IAMU received are detailed in a memo for
your review. We trust that you will find the prices to be very
competitive and the bulbs of a high quality.
IAMU members can order directly from Service Concepts, who would ship to
you and bill your utility at IAMU member prices and terms.
Alternatively, if you prefer, IAMU can order on your behalf and bill for
costs (bulbs, shipping and staff time). The prices quoted for the
bulbs in the memo are valid for one year. If you would like to
order please contact Jonathan Roberts, at
jroberts@iamu.org or call (515)
289-1999 for any assistance or answers to any questions you may have.

pages of each Iowa Energizer will carry up-to-date information on energy
efficiency for residential applications. Contact John Burnett at

IAMU program to assist members in complying with state mandated retail
offerings of renewable energy. IAMU customizes marketing materials
(pamphlets and bill stuffers) for the participating utilities’ alternate
energy fund.
Biodiesel Testing
Biodiesel Updates
The IAMU biodiesel program aims to encourage the use of biodiesel in
stationary generators by electric utility members. IAMU facilitated a
series of biodiesel emissions tests in order to provide IDNR with
information to allow utilities to use biodiesel without having to
re-permit or do additional emissions testing.
