You have found the web page for IAMU’s program.
There are four video components for the smart thermostat project.
Each may be accessed as a complete video or chapter-by-chapter
for more convenient viewing:
-
The
Project Introduction (under “Promotion”) is intended for use by
the utility as part of the marketing program for presentations to
local groups. Also
included in that section is a 2 DEGREES 2 SAVETM
marketing kit. All
materials shown in the kit are available to participating utilities
in a customizable format.
-
The Customer Education video has much of the same information found in
the Project Introduction, except that it also includes step-by-step
instructions for setting the thermostat in the home or business and
over the customer’s internet portal.
-
The Customer Service Representative Training video provides detailed
information about how to set up appointments for installation of a
thermostat or switch and how to activate the devices and customer
internet portal. A
training manual is available to accompany the video and face-to-face
training will be provided by IAMU.
-
The Installer Training video provides step-by-step instructions for
installation of thermostats and switches.
It also includes an overview of the energy efficiency
assessment function.
IAMU recommends that the installation be completed by a well-trained
representative of the utility.
The video, accompanying manual, and face-to-face training and
skill demonstration are all designed to make this possible.
Good, one-on-one contact with customers is a rare opportunity
that the utility should not give up without good reason, but IAMU
can arrange for installation if necessary.
